Microbleed Hose Assembly

MicroBleed hose assemblies are extremely compact, lightweight, flexible, and strong. They are manufactured out of polyamide with a synthetic fiber reinforcement. MicroBleed hoses are offered in a number of standard lengths. However, hose lengths can be made to suit your particular application.

MicroBleed hose assemblies offer relatively high flow rates – up to 5 GPM (18.93 lpm). Additionally, the ends of the MicroBleed hoses are equipped with Safe-T-Bleed’s patented, leak-proof, MicroMeter safety valves. Unless both sides of the MicroBleed hose assembly are safely and securely connected to a MicroBleed valve, oil cannot flow through. Furthermore, discharge rates can be controlled using the adjustment knob on the MicroMeter safety valve. This feature offers the advantage of speed regulation when lowering heavy loads in an emergency situation.

Many hydraulic actuators are located directly under heavy, moveable structures, which present a serious safety hazard if it becomes necessary to manually lower a loaded actuator. Safe-T-Bleed allows remote emergency load lowering, keeping personnel out of harms way. For safety purposes, the MicroMeter safety valves cannot be disassembled or detached from the ends of the MicroBleed hose.
